Order them online, ladies
LATE at night about 18 months ago, Radha Perera had to make the familiar dash to the convenience store for a very expensive packet of synthetic tampons.
This got the 23-year-old Box Hill South woman thinking that there had to be a better way.She created s.rosa organic tampons, which will hopefully soon deliver three months’ worth of tampons to women who subscribe to her business. The tampons will be delivered in their own reusable zip-lock pouch, to cut down on packaging.
“I stopped and thought, this has to change ... I didn’t sleep that night and sat at the computer all night coming up with ideas.” She said there had never been a subscription-based method before to sell tampons. Ms Perera has started a Kickstarter campaign, which ends on February 26, to get her business going.Details: kickstarter.com/ projects/394364442/s-rosaorganic-tampons-to-yourdoor
