The perfect work and study desk

study desk
We may not have the pristine walls and carpets like in this picture, but there's some incredibly useful things you can do to de-clutter your desk and make it ready for study and work alike. Not only will you feel better, you'll work better too.

  1. Remove everything from the table and wipe down with a damp cloth and table surface cleaner. Wipe dry with cloth once done
  2. Have table where the most light enters the room
  3. Recycle any bits of paper you're not using and throw out little pieces of plastic or receipts that you don't need anymore
  4. Decide on your most important and most used items to be placed on the table - this could include your table lamp, calendar for the wall, a pen holder with your pens and pencils and your laptop
  5. Remove everything else and place into storage drawers
  6. Arrange electrical items so that the wires don't get cluttered and tangled
  7. Place all other essential items on your desk in a clean arrangement
  8. Vacuum the floors and collect any dust that has fallen from cleaning your table
  9. Most importantly, find a comfortable and back-friendly chair that's going to give you all the support you need
